Who I Am:
I am just a pilgrim in progress. I am passing through a land that is foreign to me. Though I am pressed on every side, I continue here only to bring honor to my Father who sent me. I know it would be better for me if I go, but I linger here to fulfiill only His will and His plan for my life. I am headed home to my final destination. That place where I know that I belong. That place that my Father has prepared for me. I don't belong here. I long to be there with Him. He is there; that is where I want to be. Storing up my crowns as He leads me, I travel this foreign land knowing I don't walk it alone. He has been here before and He is always right here with me. I write to honor only Him. I write from my experiences, so that others may find traveling this foreign land a little bit easier. We are not alone; our creator is with us. He loves us and has a plan for us. His plan for each of us, though unique, is always to become more like Him. As we become more like Him, we find peace, forgiveness, eternal security, and a personal relationship with a loving Father who will go through Hell and back to love us and have a relationship with us. Though I do provide non-religious writings/poetry, most is motivated by love for Christ and what He has done for me. My work is not "inspired" by God; as I believe only the Bible to be the only inspired and infallibal Word of God. My work is only motivated by Him. Though I truly believe my work is given to me by Him; I am human and I am fallibal. My work is intended to make the reader think and consider the possibilities of Christ in them. I make mistakes. If you find any, I would appreciate your sharing them with me; for I am only "a pilgrim in progress" and won't be perfected in Him until I reach my final destination. All praise and glory go to the Father in Heaven; all mistakes and errors are my doing!

This site is dedicated to the furthering of Christ's kingdom here on Earth. This site does not subscribe to any denomination or belief other than Christ is the Son of God, He suffered and died on a cross for the forgiveness of our sins, He is the only way to the Father; there is no other, forgiveness can only be found through His blood, through asking forgiveness from our sins, believing on the name of Jesus Christ our Lord as our only Savior, and by repenting of our sins, we can inherit the kingdom of God and be with Him for eternity. I believe in the priesthood of the believer, the eternal security of the believer, and that the Bible is the only true Word of God, wholy true, infalibal, and every single word inspired by Him.

Greeting Cards-For display only. My Books-my novel "Journey to Repentance" an auto-biographical work that tells my 11 yr. journey to adopt a child and do foster care. I never thought to ask God if this is what He wanted me to do and I never dreamed how hard it would be for a single male to adopt in Oklahoma. I also was carrying a secret; a sin no-one knew about. It took God pusuing this His adopted son for 11 years to bring me back into His will. It deals with many battles; with family, friends, racism, my church, welfare, and the courts. Ultimately, it is about the battle that raged inside of me; that battle that takes place not where we can see, but with the powers that are not seen. It is also about the lengths a loving Father in Heaven will go to in order to restore fellowship with the one He loves. It is gripping, surreal, and revealing; of my own sin, the failures of the welfare system in Oklahoma, and the stories of those kids I raised and how the system failed them. My Book of Religious Poetry-also tells my journey to repentance. My Daily Blog-Updates on my ministry; Daily Devotionals; My rambles. The Vasquez Savage Ministry:Has started on this date 10-08-2012. It is honor of my two adopted sons. They are my inspiration and the whole reason I started writing 2 years ago. This ministry has been growing and building in spirit for those 2 years as God has led. This is a bold new step to honor Christ and to celebrate what He has done for us. Where this ministry goes is totally up to Him. I now write for Christ! He gave me this gift to begin with, I believe, to help me through some very tough times. It was both very therapeutic to me and ministered to those who read it. As long as God blesses it and heals through it, I will continue. My sons were my life. I have had to learn that when God became my life, all the other parts come into place. I serve my Risen Savior, but I dedicate this ministry to my two boys. I love you guys wherever you are!
